Using Clarimap
At the top of the screen are three buttons: Full, Summary, and Summary with Subs
- Full shows all position statements at the level you are on – both their title and details
- Summary just shows the titles for the position statements
- Summary with Subs shows the titles and text of position statements below the position statements at the level you are on.
Q. How do I know what level I am on? And what position statement the sub-position statements are responding to?
A. The focus position statement is in the gray box just below the top navigation bar. If you press the Add Position Statement button the position statement you add will be below that focus position statement. You might see the titles of other position statements below the focus position statement.
Q. What do the colors of the position statements (Black, Green and Red) mean?
- A Black Position Statement is neutral. It is typically a general topic area (Facility move, Patient Care, Manufacturing, Marketing, etc)
- A Green Position Statement is a Supporting position statement. That means that it supports its parent position statement (one level up)
- A Red Position Statement is an Opposing position statement. That means that it opposes its parent position statement (one level up).
Q, What does an underlined position statement mean?
A, That it has sub-position statements. Click on the position statement title to see the subposition statements. Click on the title if you would like to add sub-position statements.
Q. How do I see position statements one level or two levels up from where I am?
A. Toward the bottom of the top gray focus box it says LEVEL NAVIGATION. (This line is not present in the box for the top level contention, but it is for all lower levels.) The highest number is the level of depth you are on. You can click on the numbers to climb to higher levels.
